The Remnant Podcast with Jacquie Wade
God‘s remnant are those who acknowledge God in all their ways, even when their ways sometimes do not please God. They are the ones who always confess their sins to God while believing He is always faithful and just to forgive them of their sins and to cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We stand on the finish work of Jesus Christ, inspired and led by the Holy Spirit to ultimately bring all GLORY TO GOD and not ourselves. Lives will be changed, souls delivered and faith will be preached and proclaimed and we DECLARE and DECREE that we are Kingdom individuals employed to speak into the earth realm and levels of dimensions for which we have authority granted by GOD.

Philippians 2:3 (NIV), "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.
Humility can help us deal with life's trials, strengthening our faith and trust.
1 Peter 5:6-7 (NIV) encourages, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." In humility, we recognize that God is in control, and we're not. This realization can lead us to cast our anxieties on Him, trusting in His care and perfect timing.

1 Peter 3:9 (NIV) counsels us not to retaliate: "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing." T

Exposing The Spirit of Anger
Thursday Jun 01, 2023
Thursday Jun 01, 2023
Anger is a natural human emotion, a response to perceived threats, injustices, or frustrations. Yet, when uncontrolled, it can evolve into a destructive force, both physically and spiritually. The Bible gives us a clear perspective on anger, illustrating its potential for harm but also providing guidelines for its appropriate expression and resolution.
In Ephesians 4:26-27, Paul advises, "In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." This suggests that anger in itself is not sinful, but if mishandled, it can lead to sin.
James 1:19-20 further illuminates the issue: "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires." Here, the caution against hasty anger highlights the need for patience, understanding, and self-control, qualities that align with the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Proverbs, a book abundant in wisdom, similarly speaks of anger: "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control" (Proverbs 29:11). Here we see that wisdom correlates with self-control, keeping one's anger in check to avoid foolish actions.
Even Jesus demonstrated anger in the cleansing of the Temple (John 2:13-16), yet His anger was righteous, directed against corruption and sacrilege. This teaches us that anger can be justified if it arises from love and a zeal for God's righteousness, but it should always be guided by wisdom and never result in sin.
In conclusion, the Bible does not necessarily condemn anger, but it underscores the importance of managing it appropriately. Uncontrolled anger can give room for the adversary to work, can lead to strife, and can distance us from the righteousness of God. The spirit of anger should be combated with the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. When we embody these attributes, we reflect the nature of God and counteract the destructive potential of anger.

Are You Part of God's Remnant

So you ask what does the Remnant mean and how does this relate or can relate to you.
A remnant is a left-over amount of people. Although the remnant could be looked upon as worthless, God assigned high value to those of His people whom HE had set aside for holy purposes, those HE labels as “remnants” in several places in the Bible. To begin, Noah and his family were considered the remnant saved out of the millions on the earth before the flood (Genesis 6). Only Lot and his two daughters survived the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, a very small remnant, indeed (Genesis 19).
God’s sovereign choice as to whom HE will save can also be seen in the New Testament: While the word remnant means “what is left,” particularly what may remain after a battle or a great calamity.
Of course, the most blessed remnant is that of the true Church, the body of Christ, chosen out of the millions who have lived and died over the centuries. Jesus made it clear that this remnant would be small when compared to the number of people on the earth throughout history. “Many” will find the way to eternal destruction, but “few” will find the way to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14). We who believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior can, with great peace, rest in the fact that we belong to the “remnant.”
